  • Our Providers

Meet some of our esteemed providers.

  • Your employees are the engine of your success. Ensuring their safety and well-being is not just good business practice, it is your legal responsibility. Workmen’s Compensation Insurance is a mandatory requirement under UAE Labour Law, designed to provide a critical safety net for your employees while protecting your business from significant financial and legal liabilities.

This essential policy ensures that if an employee suffers an injury, contracts an occupational disease, or passes away as a result of their work, they or their dependents will receive the necessary medical care and financial compensation. It is the cornerstone of a safe and responsible workplace.

  • What Does Workmen’s Compensation Policy Cover?

This Insurance policy is designed to be fully compliant with UAE law, providing comprehensive benefits that include:

    Medical Expenses

Full coverage for medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical costs, as well as hospitalisation expenses from the moment of injury until the employee has recovered. This includes rehabilitation and therapy costs.

    Temporary Disability Compensation

If an employee is temporarily unable to work while recovering, the policy covers their loss of earnings as per the provisions of the UAE Labour Law.

    Permanent Disability Compensation

In the unfortunate event of a permanent partial or total disability, a lump-sum compensation is paid to the employee. The amount is calculated based on a percentage of their basic salary, as determined by the law and medical assessment.

    Death Benefit

If a work-related accident results in the death of an employee, a lump-sum compensation (equivalent to 24 months of their basic salary, subject to minimums and maximums defined by law) is paid to their legal dependents.

    Repatriation Expenses

The policy covers the costs associated with repatriating the deceased employee’s remains back to their home country, a crucial benefit for the UAE’s large expatriate workforce.

  • Workmen’s Compensation Insurance

This is a critical distinction. Workmen’s Compensation Insurance specifically covers injuries and illnesses that are a direct result of an employee’s job. Group Health Insurance provides general medical coverage for non-work-related illnesses and injuries. Both are mandatory for most employers in the UAE.

No. The UAE Labour Law applies to all employees, regardless of their role. An employee in an office can suffer a work-related injury, such as a slip and fall or repetitive strain injury. Therefore, coverage is required for your entire workforce, from labourers to administrative staff and management.
